Cambridge Institute of Technology was established in the year 2001 at Tatisilwai (16 kms from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand) as a preferred centre of scientific and technical education under the able and visionary guidance of Late Dr. Bahadur Singh- An Educationist & Social Reformer. The Institute has been promoted by Cambridge Trust of India, a registered body under Indian Trust Act. The Board of Governors of the trust comprises of Educationists, Technocrats, Social Workers and Philanthropists. Since its establishment, the Institute has grown and flourished rapidly and is today one of the premier Engineering Institutes of the country. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and affiliated to Ranchi University, Ranchi and Government of Jharkhand.

Campus of three C.I.T. students in China's Multinational Company

Campus selection of three students of Cambridge Institute of Technology Ranchi has been done by Chinese multinational company Carivar Media India Pvt. The annual package of selected students will be of 13 lakhs. Among these students Faiz Imam of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Khushboo Kumari and Prof. TNP Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Industrial Visit of C.I.T. students.

Students of the seventh semester of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT) took an industrial visit to Sudha Ranchi Dairy located in Dhurva. The company's engineer Moizuddin briefed the students about the processing system, automation system as well as the controlling unit of the plant. Prof. Mumtaz, Prof. BC Saha, Prof. Ritima Mary Shah, Prof. Neha Lakra and Prof. BN Ghosh were present on this occasion.

The campus selection of seven students of Cambridge Institute of Technology has been done by IT sector company Infosys. The selected students include Sneha Sahay, Anjali Kumari, Ragini Mathews, Shilpi Kumari of MBA department, Shaheen Akhtar, Shilpa Gupta of CSE and Faiz Imam, a student of electrical engineering. KP Dutta, Prof. Incharge of TNP Department told that he has been selected for the post of Transaction Processing Officer.
