The Research and Development Cell of Cambridge Institute of Technology [CIT (R)] is established with a view to initiate and nurture productive and interactive engagement with sponsoring agencies. The various programs are nurtured through academic research and sponsored research funded by National organizations and industry. The activities of R&D Cell include- Development of Ph. D. Research Centers, Faculty & Students Training and Support Programs, Recognition of Research Production, Encouragement of Faculty Collaboration, Balanced Teaching & Research Responsibilities, etc. CIT ( R) is committed to basic long-term research in frontier areas.
To promote research activities among faculty and students by providing seed funds and a platform for sharing and implementing innovative and creative ideas to facilitate exchange of information and interaction among the various research institutes and industries to develop skilled manpower in various engineering fields.
