About the seminar

Exploring the next chapter of AI and analytics

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics is transforming the way organisations innovate, conduct research, solve complex problems and make strategic decisions. Intelligent systems, Generative AI, predictive analytics and decision-support technologies are creating new possibilities for transformative change across industries and sectors.

At the same time, the rise of AI and analytics presents critical questions about appropriate, ethical and responsible innovation, and the role of technology, data, governance, workforce and sustainability in driving progress. Businesses and institutions are seeking ways to evolve their practices, realise emerging opportunities, address new challenges and enhance human capabilities.

In this context, the Two-Day National Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics for Innovation, Research and Strategic Decision-Making”, organised by the Department of MBA, Cambridge Institute of Technology, Ranchi, and sponsored by the Jharkhand Council on Science Technology and Innovation (JCSTI), Ranchi, provides a platform to explore the contours of this emerging reality.

The seminar will bring together academicians, researchers, industry professionals, students, policymakers and entrepreneurs to interact, present research, share ideas, and exchange applications and insights on the theme. It will promote academic–industry engagement, interdisciplinary research and responsible adoption of these technologies, with specific relevance to areas such as business, industry, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, education and governance.

The seminar is thus intended to go beyond discussing technology itself, and to examine how AI and data-driven approaches can contribute to meaningful innovation, impactful research and informed strategic decision-making.
