Mrs. Janki Devi, the Chairperson of Cambridge Trust of India, is the wife of founder Chairman Dr. Bahadur Singh. The vision to establish an Engineering College in a rural but peaceful place like Tatisilwai was no doubt the dreams of Dr. Singh but the support and motivation he acquired was from Mrs Janki Devi. Having spent such a great time with such a scholar, Mrs Singh was always on her toes in helping to establish various educational Institutions like Cambridge School, Gautam Buddha International School, Cambridge Institute of Teacher’s Education, Cambridge Institute of Polytechnic and Kamla Nehru Vidya Mandir.

She had great affinity and admiration for her husband who was a great educationist. She always believed that education is the only means through which a society devoid of unjust practices could be established. Having opened this Institute in 2001, she has been constantly working day and night to bring C.I.T. to such a peak that the coming generation would only speak about its glory. The hardship she has faced for keeping this Institute alive is really very praiseworthy. The emergence of C.I.T. has paved the way for education and employment. Students are being benefitted with the quality education by dedicated and highly qualified faculties. The placement of the students is one of the most important issues that is taken care of.
