Electronics Engineers are primarily concerned with development and manufacture of components and systems which utilise electrical, magnetic and optical phenomena. The title 'electronics engineering' is often used to differentiate the areas associated with electronic devices, such as computers and digital systems and communications, from those associated with electrical energy conversion and control systems. The curriculum is so designed to offer bright placement prospects to students in core companies like Philips which offer technical job profiles to candidates. Job structure involves synthesizing Integrated Circuits (ICs) maintenance, repair, and development of electronic devices or appliances like televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.
